Hi, my name is Jan and I’m a software engineer based in the Midlands, UK. I specialize in Rich Internet Applications built on Adobe’s Flash Platform. That means I like to work with Flash, Flex and AIR to deliver high quality applications.
I’m also interested in the new brand of applications called contextual. In simple terms it’s about creating a whole palette of applications as opposed to only a web app. That involves mobile and devices.
I’ve always been passionate about programming and making my code pretty although not many will ever look at it. I believe high-quality of code is a very important factor and I’m always trying to find best solution to a problem at hand. As such I will always look for the best practice and see if somebody has solved it for me long time ago; I will apply Design Patterns and work using agile methodology to assure the software built meets clients requirements.
